Dr. Samapika Das is Head of the English Department, Counsellor, and Assistant HOD of Basic Science and Humanities at Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata, India. She is a Rehabilitation Council of India certified Rehabilitation Psychologist. She earned her Ph.D. at Calcutta University, Department of Psychology, India. She is the Managing Editor of International Journal of English Learning and Teaching Skills (https://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/smart/ijelts#Fast) and also Convenor, International Conference of English Learning and Teaching Skills. She is the President & Convenor, ELT@I, Kolkata Chapter. She is the President of the International Rotary Club of Silicon Valley, Salt Lake, and Vice-president of IEM International Inner Wheel Club, Kolkata, India. She is the Treasurer, IEM International Toastmasters Club, and IEM International Lion's Club, Kolkata, India. She is a Product Manager and Senior Business Manager in The SMART Society (US and Canada based non-profit society). Her research areas include Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Psychology and Obesity, Social Studies, Diaspora Studies, Women’s Studies, English Learning, and Teaching Skills, Public Speaking, Team Building, and Leadership Skills.
